It is really curious that no screenshots (because I don't really believe those screenshots web see on the web) ... I saw an IM example, quand Google Talk is not lokking like that at all...
It will be great having an OS from google. I am not interest in fights between the giants of MS and Google, rather a healthy competition to the users to choose as per requirement of the user. To give us a better choice, rather than confusions. I think Google will come up with something good, but if it needs to capture the market, it needs to do it as quickly as possible. But how different can they make things is something to be seen. Lets hope and watch for the best ... your comments to me.
If google introduced an os, it would be totally cross platform, would it not?, I think the best way forward would be to allow ppl to use any browser, anywhere, to access their desktop as we do with web mail and sites, but the tech would need to come up to scratch, with completely wifi enabled tablet PC's, before it would be actually beneficial, at the moment it would only be useful between work and home, and totally useless on mobile devices (tiny screens), which is where it should be the most useful.
Who need GBrowser when you can have Gsuite , or , better, Google OS!
