3 versions of documentation?

3 years, 1 month ago

Also, at the moment there seem to be three different versions of documentation available:

At the 'Documentations' link on the left I get one version when I view by Netdoc viewer, another version when I view by PDF. Then I can seea third version if I click the 'Download' link at the left! Yikes.

One last comment. I don't mean to be critical, just giving feedback. I cannot find any tar or gzip download, this would be nice for those who want to download/install directly on linux system (without extra step of downloading to a Windows system to unzip).

Thanks ...

Criticism is good.

I will make a .tar.gz. There is an zip/unzip for Linux but maybe it's not that common then.

About the documentations; the contents of the PDF version are the same as the online version, so just use the format that you like best. On the download page there is some quick installation instructions.

On the other hand, the documentation is not very well up to date, but that will be fixed too.

The Netdoc & PDF versions really are different. Check the part about linux installation. One mentions a script called 'runmefirst.sh' while the other does not.

It's really nice to see this fast response though. I am anxious to get Netdoc up & running in my environment. If it proves useful I do plan to buy a license.
